The Man Behind the Keyboard

I’ll never forget the first combat sports event I properly paid attention to, it was the K-1 World Grand Prix in 1999 where I watched Ernesto Hoost tear his way through the tournament and straight into an electrifying final opposite Mirko Crocop. I immediately knew there was something that interested me about it and I started to put more effort into watching events like this and was fortunate enough to catch the beginning of Tito Ortiz’s reign as UFC Light Heavyweight champion. Over the years, I’ve trained and competed sporadically in Boxing, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA but have come to terms with the fact that I’ll never be destined to set foot in the octagon myself, so why not dissect the performances of those who do? This brings me to the here and now, where starting something like this seems only natural at this point. Read on, and I hope you find what you’re looking for.
